Mooring Solution sells physical marine products intended to assist sailors during anchoring operations.

The product package may include:

  • A Morphéis buoy
  • An electronic unit mounted on the buoy
  • A receiver unit for the vessel
  • A user manual
  • An induction charger

All products sold are intended exclusively for marine use.

4. Intended Use and Safety Disclaimer

The Morphéis system is designed to provide information relating to the status of an anchor.

The product:

  • Is an aid only
  • Does not replace seamanship, crew competence, or proper anchoring procedures
  • Does not guarantee vessel safety, holding power, or protection against anchor drag

Anchoring is an inherently risky activity, particularly at night or when the crew is ashore. Users remain solely responsible for:

  • The safety of their vessel
  • The safety of passengers and crew
  • Monitoring weather, seabed, and anchoring conditions

The user must always exercise independent judgement.

5. Technical and Environmental Limits

The product is designed to operate within the following limits:

  • Operating temperature: -20°C to +60°C
  • Maximum operating depth: 23 metres

Improper use, including but not limited to:

  • Submerging electronic components beyond specified limits
  • Exposing components to seawater where prohibited
  • Rough handling or improper installation

may result in malfunction and exclusion from warranty coverage.

6. Orders

Orders are placed through the website and are subject to availability.

Mooring Solution reserves the right to:

  • Refuse or cancel an order in case of stock issues
  • Refuse or cancel an order in case of suspected fraud or misuse
  • Cancel an order prior to dispatch with a full refund

Order confirmation does not constitute acceptance until the order has been processed.

7. Pricing

All prices are displayed in euros and include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise.

Shipping costs, customs duties, and import taxes may apply depending on the delivery destination and are the responsibility of the customer unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Prices may be updated at any time without prior notice.

8. Payment

Payments are processed securely via Stripe.

Accepted payment methods may include:

In accordance with EU consumer law, customers have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without providing a reason.

  • Products must not have been used
  • Products must be returned in good condition

Refunds will include the original shipping costs.

Return shipping costs:

  • Are borne by the customer if the product does not suit them
  • Are borne by Mooring Solution if the product is faulty

11. Warranty and Legal Guarantee

All products benefit from the EU legal conformity guarantee of two (2) years.

The warranty covers defects occurring under normal use, including:

  • Water ingress into the electronic box
  • Automatic rope lock failure
  • Rope breakage
  • Software malfunction
  • Battery failure

The warranty does not cover:

  • Improper installation
  • Improper use
  • Exceeding depth or temperature limits
  • Mechanical damage caused by misuse or rough handling

Proof of purchase is required.

Mooring Solution will, at its discretion, repair or replace defective products.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mooring Solution shall not be liable for:

  • Loss or damage to vessels
  • Loss or damage to adjacent vessels
  • Indirect or consequential losses
  • Loss or theft of the product
  • Damage resulting from misuse or improper installation

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

13. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights relating to the products, software, manuals, and website content remain the exclusive property of Mooring Solution.

Unauthorised use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.

14. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.
